🤖 Android

  1. Tap a wallpaper above, then long-press it and Save to your gallery.
  2. Open Gallery → tap ⋮ → Set as wallpaper.
  3. Choose Home screen.
  4. Turn off zoom/crop and center it so all the words show → Done.

Tip: use a spare, icon-free home screen so nothing covers the phrases.

🍎 iPhone

  1. Tap a wallpaper above, then long-press it and Save to Photos.
  2. Open Photos → tap Share → Use as Wallpaper.
  3. Pinch/drag to position so all the words show.
  4. Tap Set.

Tip: turn off Depth Effect if the clock overlaps the words.

💬 WhatsApp (Android)

  1. Download the stickers (or the .zip) and save the images to your phone.
  2. Install Sticker Maker Studio from the Play Store.
  3. Create a new pack and add the saved stickers.
  4. Tap Add to WhatsApp.

💬 WhatsApp (iPhone)

  1. Save the sticker images to Photos.
  2. Install Sticker Maker Studio from the App Store.
  3. Create a pack, add the stickers, then Add to WhatsApp.

🍎 iMessage (iPhone)

  1. The same Sticker Maker Studio app can add your pack to iMessage.
  2. Open a chat → the apps row → your sticker pack.

📱 Zalo, Messenger, texts

  1. These apps don't support custom sticker packs.
  2. Just send a sticker as a regular image from your gallery — works everywhere.
Keyboard

Type Vietnamese on Your Phone or Computer

Three ways to type with proper accents and tones. ("Tiếng Việt" just means "Vietnamese" — it's what the Vietnamese keyboard is called in your phone's settings.) Read it here, or download a printable one-page guide for your devices.

First, switch to the Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese) keyboard — see the device setup steps below. Long-press works on any keyboard, but Telex and voice typing only work once the Vietnamese keyboard is active.

Long-press

The fastest way to start. On any phone keyboard, press and hold a letter to reveal its accented versions, then slide to the one you want.

  • Hold a → à á ả ã ạ â ă
  • Hold o → ò ó ỏ õ ọ ô ơ
  • Hold d → đ

Telex (6 rules)

Type with normal letters and Telex builds the accents for you. The 6 rules:

  • aa=â · ee=ê · oo=ô
  • aw=ă · ow=ơ · uw=ư
  • dd=đ
  • Tones, typed after the word: s=sắc ´ · f=huyền ` · r=hỏi ̉ · x=ngã ˜ · j=nặng ̣
  • z removes a tone
  • Example: phowr → phở, camr own → cảm ơn, ddepj → đẹp

Voice typing

Let your voice do the typing. Tap the 🎤 microphone on your keyboard, set the input language to Vietnamese, and say the phrase naturally in Vietnamese. Accents and tones are added automatically — and it's a great way to practice your pronunciation, too.

🍎 iPhone setup

  1. Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard.
  2. Choose Vietnamese (Telex or QWERTY).
  3. Tap the 🌐 globe key to switch to it while typing.

On the QWERTY version you can also long-press letters for accents.

🤖 Android setup (Gboard)

  1. Settings → System → Languages & input → Gboard → Languages.
  2. Tap Add keyboard → Vietnamese → Telex.
  3. While typing, long-press the spacebar to switch languages.

Long-press any letter for its accented variants too.

🪟 Windows 11 setup

  1. Settings → Time & language → Language & region.
  2. Add a language → Vietnamese → install.
  3. Switch keyboards anytime with Win + Space.

🍏 Mac setup

  1. System Settings → Keyboard → Text Input → Edit.
  2. Tap + → Vietnamese → Telex → Add.
  3. Switch with the input menu in the menu bar or Ctrl + Space.
